And quite often only if it was originally set up that way. Personally, I think it's time to move on from that OS. The only place I have XP at the moment is on my ancient Toshiba laptop. Soon I will piss XP off and maybe go with Win8.1. I might even use the laptop a little more then as I find it way too limiting with XP. -- Xeno

Once again I'm wondering if you're genuinely after help or just trolling. Have you got the important data off the HDD already and are now trying to fix the OS? Or are you just too lazy to do anything that has been suggested and want to try and fix the computer using system restore _then_ get to the data regardless of any risk?
