Get MS to override the refusal to activate.

But you shouldn’t have to if you havent changed
anything important hardware wise. Just changing
the motherboard to an identical replacement
should see it install fine.

You did at one time, havent needed to do it lately.

Yep, in the unlikely event it doesn’t just reinstall fine.
