Because hardly any of their customers can work out how well they
perform, particularly on the wifi side, and they get them very cheap
which allows them to look good when they include them for free.

Because they are so bad. People mostly start howling about complete duds.

Yeah, you will always get more people howling
with duds that gets supplied in higher volumes.
