Nope. I actually had one from the time before 
mobile phones were available which allowed
you to have lists in it so you could have your
shopping list in the phone instead of on a bit
of paper. You loaded it from your PC using an 
RS232 cable with a tiny connector on the 
watch end.

Some are a full tiny mobile phone in watch format. 

Others can do most of what a phone can do
except make and receive phone calls without
the phone close by.
