  Windows 8[.1] users should also stay put. For them (i.e. also me),
Windows 10 isn't an advantage either.

  The only 'advantage' is that (till end of July 2016) the Windows 10
upgrade is free, but that goes for both 7 and 8[.1] users.

  However, Windows 8[.1] users *do* have an advantage over Windows 7
users, because *they* can upgrade .... <drum_roll> to Windows 7! :-)

N.B. SWMBO's laptop accidentily went to Windows 10. So I can wait for it
to crash and then run for the door.
