Depends on what you want speed wise. The simplest way to do it is with a wifi repeater which receives the wifi from your router and retransmits/repeats it and place that half way between your router and the remote place you want to use the wifi. But because of the technology, that works at half the speed of the router, because it has to receive the packet, then retransmit it, and so gets half the thruput. The alternative is to run a CAT5 cable to the repeater and use it in that mode. That no only fixes the speed problem but allows you to have the repeater operating on a different wifi channel to the router and so you don't get any interference with the router. You can buy repeaters that do that for peanuts, like $20 or so and the good ones do both modes and also have an access point mode that allows you to make say a basic printer into a wifi printer etc. There are also extenders that communicate over the mains and that allows you to put another wifi at the remote end just by plugging both components into the mains. I don't like these as much tho because the use of the mains limits the speed significantly.
