Arlen Holder wrote a very long subject. What should we do about those, or rather that /one/ wayward individual - who never learned how to create a terse subject in the form of a brief 'title' to succinctly characterize the content of his message body. The long subject's content belongs in the message body, not the subject. And, what does your long subject content have to do w/ a.o.l? What each individual newsgroup reader can do about those messages he doesn't wish to read is ignore them, either 'mentally' or by using reader filters to aid him in ignoring, either by marking them read or hiding them from his vision. -- Mike Easter
