Oooops. I just tried upgrading from 21.3 to 22 with mintupgrade. It didn't go well. After finishing and rebooting, I was dropped into command prompt. 'startx' did start an X session, but the graphic display was basic, and there was no networking. Presumably drivers for the h/w hadn't been installed. H610M-E, RTL8111, i5-13400 and GT1030. No timeshift was installed either. Out with the DVD standalone and timeshift has at least put things back. (First time I've had to do that.) Do I just retry and hope, or is there something to check and fix first? (BTW the DVD was also v 22, and works just fine... I even get drivers for the on-board intel gpu which 21.x does not have.) -- Mike Scott Harlow, England
