Wayland is "Experimental" -- probably best to bring it up with the devs
on github.

Edit the (presumably) "wireguard.desktop" file.  I don't have a wg
client installed here, so guessing on the name... 

It's most likely either in $HOME/.local/share/applications/  or
/usr/share/applications.  Look for the "Categories=" line in the file,
change it to "Internet" and save.  Might need to logout/login for the
change to take effect.
