I had a relative whose wife had a row with her daughter-in-law, so my
relative and wife moved to NYC (a lot of people in Ireland can manage
the citizenship thing, through working in the US for some of their lives)
, with a well off family , he chaffeured and gardened, she did the 
housework. He is dead now, she is living somewhere on the West coast 
with her daughter. I admired them for their adaptibility.
