But originally, or so I gather, this was published via DEC (or at least 
when he was at DEC), and predates microcomputers by a few years.  This one 
seems to be a sort of reprint of the book, except the programs rewritten 
for microprocessors.  Or rather, the BASIC on home computers.  I'm not 
sure how that worked, since a BASIC program from a mainframe would run on 
home computers, but once they started using the variants of BASIC that 
were on the various microcomputers, there were all kinds of extensions 
that varied from BASIC to BASIC.  SO did they rewrite the programs in 
Microsoft BASIC, or were they just a collection of the old programs but 
published in Creative Computing, so this one worked on the TRS-80 and that 
one worked on the Apple, etc?
