These “No Kings” protests are straight-up hurting their midterm chances. Who thought blocking people trying to get to work was a winning strategy? All it does is irritate normal voters—the exact people you need to win. You’re not energizing the middle, you’re pushing them away. Meanwhile, there’s this constant push to make everything look like chaos because of the Iran situation, when reality is more complicated than the doom narrative being pushed. Acting like doing nothing was the better option ignores the actual risks involved. And the “No Kings” protests in England? That’s just comedy. Nothing says serious political movement like yelling “No Kings” in a country that literally has one. -- Tom Mix
