Every time I open Task Scheduler, I get three error messages. One is:
"The selected task "{A08C4CD5-EB56-4D58-A13D-2A95E4383E82}" no longer
exists. To see the current tasks, click Refresh."
The other two are similar but with different task IDs. This probably
came about when I was forced to do a repair install a few weeks ago
after a power failure, and I also created a new profile and deleted the
old one. So, this task might be a remnent of the old setup.
I cannot find any reference to these ID numbers in Task Scheduler,
though I'm just eyeballing it - there are tons of tasks and Task
Scheduler has no search function (grrr.) I suppose they could be listed
with a more "friendly" name.
I do find that ID referenced twice in Regedit in the
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows
NT\CurrentVersion\Schedule\TaskCache\Tasks\ key. Can I safely delete
the tasks there?
