I have a functioning water heater, which is nice. Not only warm water but warm water right away instead of waiting for it to gurgle it's way through cold pipes from the furnace. I'm just about ready to give up on the heat-pump guy ever getting his shit together and just order one on-line instead. -- BeH

Try turning up the temperature on the water heater but be careful not to burn yourself. I think the bacteria is eating the heating element or temperature sensor. You can call a plumber and they will replace the part.

I checked the thermostat on the water heater, which is newish, and it was indeed set to 'Hot' which is about 120F. I turned it up. I was always told that it needs to be at 140F for the dishwasher. Hopefully that will get rid of the smell. I will probably get a purification system since the water seems to be getting worse with all the construction around here.

No one in my age cohort knows their height/weight in metric.Probably because we were weighed and measured by people who learned to do so with the imperial system. The outdoor or room temperature is always in Celcius although I cook exclusively in imperial with ingredients purchased in metric sizes. For small measurements like how much snow or the height of shelf, people generally use one or the other or both depending of the phase of the moon. . We drive in kilometres but if you ask a Canadian how far is it to another city, they will tell you how long it takes to get there like Toronto is 5 hours away. > >>> >>> I would think hell is lower than that... >> >> You think my well is to portal to Hell? >> The pipe is probably about a foot in diameter, so they would have to >> be tiny demons. > > They will have to be quite small anyway if they can go around > possessing people without anyone noticing. > It is my understanding that the 'host' is mentally ill and has therefore imagined the whole thing.

All I can say is that it's confusing and overly complicated and no way to build a space rocket. Also driving for 5 hours is madness - you should definitely move your cities closer together. I don't think I've heard anyone using anything but SI-units [1] here since I was a little lad (so latter half of 1960s) when my mum sometimes bought a pound of coffee or a half pound of butter - and even then a danish "pound" was exactly 500g. >> >>>> >>>> I would think hell is lower than that... >>> >>> You think my well is to portal to Hell? >>> The pipe is probably about a foot in diameter, so they would have to >>> be tiny demons. >> >> They will have to be quite small anyway if they can go around >> possessing people without anyone noticing. >> > > It is my understanding that the 'host' is mentally ill and has therefore > imagined the whole thing. That's what they want you to think... [1] There was a change from using calories to joule as base unit for energy but that was a change between values derived (calculated) from SI-units. -- BeH
