Maybe they don't use population sign due to the amount of work involved 
in updating them. 
Then the designated person has to go to the outskirts of town by 
themselves at dusk <cue suspenseful music>

Yes, the Last of us is a game. One of my programmers constatntly tells 
me how much/how little they are following the storyline in the game.
I'm polite. I smile and nod.

The only show that recall recently having a big plot twist that blew up  
the internet is The White Lotus.
