which is the exact reason?

At the moment, i'm rejecting html articles because they're forbidden by 
usenet rules. At the same time, a multipart article with a plain text 
section and an html one should be readable by all clients (i suppose 
that all 'modern' newsreaders are able to handle a multipart message at 
this point). Is this wrong?

a lot of people here are against html messages, why?
