Even with the losses since then it's still up a lot. I won't credit Trump since the market actually started going nuts when the election results were known, before he was sworn in or could do a single thing to help or hurt the market. >I think you just picked the wrong stocks. And didn't diversify! He had nearly all of his eggs in the AT&T basket. In another topic, Mr. Plutonium claimed to have 24,820 shares of ATT and a smattering of other stocks. It appears that T did not participate in the rally. Ignoring dividends or any purchases or sales, 24820 T was worth $917,595.40 on 11/9/2016, was worth $924,793.20 near the market peak at the end of January and was worth $797,716.80 at the close 5/4. Meanwhile, $917,595.40 mirroring the Dow would have been worth $1,313,239.93 at the peak and $1,197,097.36 at the close 5/4. Hardly "in the sewer". Mr. Plutonium is projecting his lack of diversification and a poor choice on Trump/the market as a whole. Meanwhile, I did rather well since Trump's inauguration, even with the losses of the last three months. I won't credit him, I think the market really just didn't like the idea of President Hillary at all.
