Yes. Would you try reading what Odd keeps telling you for once? Expansion is (increase/original distance)/(unit time). In your box example it's a doubling per unit time. Doubling 1 becomes 2, doubling sqrt(2) becomes 2*sqrt(2) etc. >So it's redshift couldn't be equal. Just like the observed universe!
