I had to dumb down the discussion of "dark matter" to your level, so that perhaps you could understand it. Otherwise you think it's something super-exotic and thus impossible. Do I have to dumb it down even more for you? Perhaps "invisible" has too many syllables for you? BTW, we already know of one form of dark matter. They're called "neutrinos". They don't interact electromagnetically at all so they are very invisible. They're very lightweight but there is a shitload of them so they're a little bit "heavy stuff".[1] But for several reasons, particularly because they like to move at nearly c rather than hang around in clumps, they cannot explain the dark matter we see in galactic rotation curves. [1] (I haven't seen anyone's estimate of the percentage of the universe that exists as neutrinos)
