I'd be a hikikomori, if I could afford it;  instead,
I'm busting my ass off, running all over the place,
talking to about 15 people each day, managing a 32 unit rooming house.

  Like an empty bladder, happiness is primal, fleeting.

  "God" (nature) has programmed "you" (us) to eat and procreate 
  even when it's counter beneficial to both yourself and society.
  Not needing a family is the primary benefit of wealthier societies.

  Notionally, communists would steel from "the rich" ( yay, jk );
  yet no one can properly define who is "rich" or "poor".

  The money game is meaningless, 
  as is sitting on the beach, staring into the horizon; 
  better to explore the world, via the Internet. 

  " Sustained Consumption " is the goal, not truthiness;
  so pick your poison, Christianity or pantheism.
  The narrative is: " My vice is better than yours ".
