We do; it's called: lambda, entropy, dark energy, evaporation,
the cosmological constant, the accelerated expansion of outerspace.

Everything evaporates, the sun is losing 4.3 million tons/second.
Earth is losing the moon.  The sun is (relatively) hot and dense. 
Entropy KILLS everything, including gravity.
