I doubt that _all_ managers/programmers are shit. You don't have to use old code, you can/should rewrite it; in fact, they often do so. Case in point: My C# macros, to automate Visual Studio 2015: Jeff-Relf.Me/Macros.HTM Yes, I had to rewrite my VS_2010 macros; but it's nice to have them in C# now, instead of "Visual Basic for Applications". Also, now I can write extensions too. Overall, it's been a wonderful improvement.
