There are actually numerous observation which everybody could easily make, which require a growing planet. Main: the growth of the planet makes sea-levels fall over very long periods of time. This means: former sea-bottom is now land and that can be easily seen almost everywhere (once you know what to look for). 'Growing Earth' is also among the most important questions in physics, because tons of questions are related to the question, whether or not matter could be created out of nowhere (or not). TH
