Stars, other than the sun, are just points of light, even in large telescopes. The orbits of the planets are mathematical derivations - no one has seen a planet orbit. Look out into the night sky - can you tell which are close, and which are far away? Just how much will you not believe absent the ability to see it? Sylvia.
