"Described in the Sept. 24 issue of Science,* the difference is much too small for humans to perceive directly—adding up to approximately 90 billionths of a second over a 79-year lifetime..." 90 billionths of a second over a 79-year period is little too long to be standing on some steps holding up a clock. The question needs to be ask, Have they ever performend the experiment and saw no change? "too small for humans to perceive directly" What does that mean? Only ants can perceive it????
