I also found the DVD drive was not reading my new 10.5 DVD. {I made it from a dmg file I had on hand....} I used a FW cable & a Mini in Target Mode. I first installed it on one of the PATA RAID's, then went back & installed it on the SATA pair. I now have 10.5 running on my "old faithful..." MDD. With it, the latest CrashPlan update installed itself...and I'm on the way. -- A host is a host from coast to coast.................wb8foz@nrk.com & no one will talk to a host that's close........[v].(301) 56-LINUX Unless the host (that isn't close).........................pob 1433 is busy, hung or dead....................................20915-1433
