I'm not interacting with Linux on my Linux desktop system, either.  I'm
interacting with GNU software.  Linux is just the kernel which empowers
my system to boot and use the GNU software, just as your Mac uses the
XNU kernel.

See how that works?  Android, (phone or tablet) just as my Linux
system, /is/ Linux.  The desktop system is GNU/Linux (for the purists)
and Android devices are Android/Linux.
