Though I have to say in my experience, stability issues aren't actually all that common. It usually comes down to a particular application crashing during launch (sometimes crashing the OS as well), or a certain feature not working correctly. In general if the application doesn't crash during launch, chances are it'll function just fine in SheepShaver / Basilisk II. > Having a real Mac able to run the older system (space and convenience > permitting) is better. Definitely. I keep a trusty old beige PowerMac G3 and some even older models in the closet for such occasions. -- E-mail sent to this address may be devoured by my ravenous SPAM filter.
