This is a clear implication, along with her > understood almost certain assent to that she is no hypocrite, from her > other statements [...] You're inferring the contents of number 1. There's a possibility they are not what you think they are. At least "within reason" is present. It could be felt that the money is more effectively (with respect to the environment) spent elsewhere. Anyway, there's been far too much mistaken inference by some people in this discussion. For example, Sandman says, "For all you know I may have invested in 30 different usenet clients," and Doc dives in to it (mistaken inference) head first, completely missing the point. | Since you can't name those 30 projects, or otherwise provide support | for the assertion that you "very much want" something, it is safe to | assume no evidence will be forthcoming and that, in fact, your claim | is false. Geez. No, it is not. It's rare to see anyone so metaphorically challenged, not to mention so ignorant of basic logic. This is particularly dangerous in software engineers. If I had somone working for me espousing this kind of crap, I'd fire them, on the spot. I have dumped entire companies for it. So. Am I surprised Sandman is not interested in Signal? No, not at all. After all this, who would be? But, does that mean he is not interested in _something_ new? No, not at all.
