The successful candidates will develop and implement automated=20 computational methods, including stabilized finite element methods for=20 fluids, complex nonlinear slip laws, non-linear structural models, and=20 complex multiphase flow models for analysis on massively parallel=20 computers. The successful candidates must be able to interact with=20 faculty and students at Rensselaer in order to develop tools for=20 attacking complex applications of interest. The successful candidates=20 will also be required to interact with sponsors (including industry).
