Supposedly Russia is using high-tech V1s for drones now. Related: a physics professor I had was given to dramatic demonstrations like a pendulum with a bowling ball for a weight. He would hold the ball up to his chin and release it, confident that it wouldn't quite make it back to his chin. One demo involved a model pulsejet. He was no fool and fired up the pulsejet at the end of the lecture. A bit of a kook but he made physics live.
