A friend served on a nuclear submarine. They go out for months and mostly 
stayed submerged. Holy Loch was the home base of the Atlantic sub fleet. 
He claimed Holy Loch made staying at sea look good. At least, barring 
unfortunate incidents, you were dry when submerged.
