Either that or turn the phone off first. If you don't do one of those things you risk corrupting the filesystem of the card by removing it while write operations are pending. Go into "Settings" and then "Storage" and see what it says. It may show that the card is unmounted, and give you the option to mount it. If it thinks the card is mounted try unmounting it and then remounting it. Alternatively, turn the phone off before re-inserting the card, as Android will normally mount external filesystems automatically during startup. Does that help? -- Cheers, Daniel.
