This is a far-off goal for me though, as I'm having plenty of fun flying my planes and multi-rotors manually. Besides, I can get very simple autopilot-like functions (return to home, GPS boundaries, straight/level flight) with easier-to-manage systems. If I ever want to do GPS waypoints, however, this is the route I would go: http://www.pixhawk.org/dev/nuttx/start In general, NuttX is regarded pretty highly for being a very Linux-like platform with a tiny footprint (20k to 40k). It also has excellent online documentation. http://nuttx.org/doku.php?id=documentation -- Now frequenting comp.misc daily in a prolonged fit of netstalgia.
