Your superman example in the stackexchange question looks fine. But when I tried it on my own image http://www.forkosh.com/images/duckrabbit.jpg as ./meme.sh duckrabbit.jpg "Duck" "Rabbit" the originally-centered duckrabbit.jpg image got shrunk and put in the lower-left corner of a much larger duckrabbit.jpg.png image, with text centered top and bottom, but lots of unnecessary (and unwanted) whitespace. I gave it ~five minutes, but couldn't make heads or tails (or should I say ducks or rabbits) out of what's going on. You have any quick understanding/solution? (Don't spend more than five mins -- just not that important for me.)
