Some packages need to be run with the notification for deprecated features turned off. I use some of their package for convenience (HTML_Form, HTML_Table, Image_GraphViz and Spreadsheet_Excel_Writer) but there are no new releases, no updates, nothing. The same applies to other packages that I sometimes use (Console_Getopt, Date, Log). Does anyone have more info about PEAR? Is the project that was lambasted as PHP CPAN really going belly up? Having such a repository would be more than useful, in my opinion it was a mistake to standardize error handling and all those things that are in the PEAR package. -- Mladen Gogala The Oracle Whisperer http://mgogala.byethost5.com
