Currently I have an inhouse "status" system which keeps track of certain metrics such as number of times a certain function was completed, or the number of times a specific error occurred within a specific function. The only problem is it's very rudimentary and before spending a ton of time developing a better user interface for the reports and coding in SMS alerting for when certain conditions are met.. I'd like to know if there was any software out there that does this sort of thing? One popular monitoring tool is nagios, it has support for SMS alerts. If you are prepared to run something a bit experimental, you have OP5 Ninja (based on nagios) and if you are prepared to pay then OP5 can provide you with other monitoring tools. -- //Aho
