However, because the /lingua franca/ of computer science and technology so far is English, of all the postings in all the natural languages, those in English are, in general, the most likely to be understood, thus to get useful/helpful replies. For discussions in one’s native language other than English, posting instead to the corresponding local newsgroup, if there is any, is recommended.
