Maybe they fired the marketing guy or Rich, > the author finally died. PHP Development Tools (PDT) installed on top of Eclipse 3.7 (Indigo) does all of that except macro recording. You can define code templates, though, if additions to the built-in ones are necessary (which you can modify). Because it is Java-based, Eclipse is virtually platform-independent, and it is for free. Add the Aptana plugin and you have a good PHP (etc.) IDE at no cost.
