I think a widely accessible community reviewed and maintained
list of Java Integrated Development Environments would be great.

It would have at least the following characteristics.

Widely accessible. Stable. Easily found.

Have a good definition for Java IDE to facilitate community
review and maintenance.

Easy to search, sort, and compare IDEs according to criteria
obtained from the definition.
