I am getting further, but there are still some hurdles to take. I can create an EntityMangerFactory and an EntityManger. But when I do an em.find I get: org.apache.openjpa.persistence.ArgumentException: The type "class nl.part1.part2.part3.NotifyMessage" has not been enhanced. But I have in my pom.xml: org.apache.openjpa openjpa-maven-plugin 2.2.0 nl/part1/part2/part3/**/*.class enhancer process-classes enhance org.apache.openjpa openjpa ${version.openjpa} So I would expect my classes to be enhanced, but they are not. What could be the problem? I also tried to change: nl/part1/part2/part3/**/*.class to: nl/part1/part2/part3/*.class but that did not help. -- Cecil Westerhof Senior Software Engineer LinkedIn: http://www.linkedin.com/in/cecilwesterhof
