I was surprised to find out that the weak PRNG, which I had used to make the star out of two Sierpinski triangles in the previous program (as per your recomendation to superimpose two triangles), wasn't good enough for the snowflake. When I used the exact same PRNG as before, the snowflake looked the this: /* BEGIN snowflake.c output */ *** *** ** ** * * * *** * * ** ** ** * *** *** ** * *** **** * ** ** ** *** ** ** ** ** * * ** *** ** ** *** ** * *** ** *** * ** ** * * * ** ** *** *** ** **** * ** ** *** ** ** * * ** * *** ** * ** *** * ** * *** *** ** * ** *** * * * ** ** ** *** * ** ** ** ** * *** ** /* END snowflake.c output */ -- pete
