Windows XP Service Pack 3 (the latest one) is strongly recommended for running Apache 2.4 on Windows XP: The current MySQL Community Server GA release is 5.6.19, released 2014-05-30. The latest MySQL Community Server GA release for 5.5.x is 5.5.38 of 2014-05-30. 5.5.36 was released on 2014-01-31. The latest stable PHP version is PHP 5.5.13, released 2014-05-29, which fixes several bugs, and security vulnerabilities CVE-2014-0238 and CVE-2014-0237. The latest version of PHP 5.4.x is 5.4.29, to which the same applies. PHP 5.4.28 fixes several bugs as well.
