If you want complex graphs, then a proper graphic application or Excel is better idea, afterall, FileMaker is a database application, not a statistical / mathematical analysis package. From memory newer versions of Filemaker do now having graphic abilities. I wasn't really thinking of those as "graphics" though. > Another example: a database of locations where you want to show these > locations on a map. > > Of course you could use google maps much better here. Given the scale, it would never be accurate anyway, altough I guess if you wanted to be really silly you could do zooming, etc. > "pixel graphics", that meens 1 point font size and graphics built from > letter text. This worked until FMP 7. But since the broken font > rendering of FMP7 was fixed, they defixed the proper display of 1 point > sized. I haven't tried it, but it would make more sense to use 1-pixel Container fields instead of Text fields, and that should then work in any version of Filemaker. Helkpful Harry :o)
