The bird is sitting on a diagonal strut on someone's steel ham radio tower, and starts pecking at it. Plink- plink-plink-plink-plink! My father said that was perfectly normal woodpecker behavior; the bird was just making noise for its own sake. I would almost say making a joyful noise unto the Lord, but we are all agnostics in my family. umar
