  @ED was on the univacs we were using.  it had a 
macro language so you could do a lot more than simple
editing.  i had quite a pile of macros to use by the
time the project i was working on finished up.  all 
of those are gone now as too the box of printouts i
kept and hauled around for years.  the punch cards 
i only moved 20 times and then finally got rid of 
them.
