Still the same results. > > What have I overlooked. The way I do it is: - install Thunderbird on the new computer and run it once. Don't bother setting up an initial profile - you won't use it. - copy my entire profile to the Profiles folder of the new computer, then run Thunderbird with the -profilemanager command line switch. - choose Create Profile - give your new profile a name when prompted. Click the "Choose Folder" button. Navigate to the folder of your copied profile and select it. - Choose "Finish". Your old profile will now be available to Thunderbird. You might have to re-install some add-ons. You can delete any extra unnecessary profiles.
