AFAICT, that wasn't 'Arlen''s point. I did make that comment, and I made it in an *Android* context, where it's not possible, because you can't have a (Windows compatible) SMB server on port 445 on (non-rooted) Android. (I also gave my alternatives for the Windows-Android case.) I also asked you (Tyrone) if iOS could have a SMB server on port 445. > No, that's just his latest fallback position.
