Oh. Well, mine are 1.2V cells, AA and AAA form factors.

I have seen higher voltages on a torch I have. But I have misplaced it 
and can not check.

I guess any 3.7v cell would do. But trying with the cells I already have 
saves money. I just have to activate the thing and do a factory reset. 
Then the thing is garbage, can be recycled.
