The Windows application for Sannce CCTV cameras allows IP cameras to be 
added.

For that, you need it to support onvif format?

It's a cheap system from Amazon, I've installed for some folks. I'd 
investigate though seeking what Open Source equivalents are out there (I 
should do). With these boxed systems you have your hands tied.

There are a few folks still in the alt.security.alarms newsgroup and not 
much spam.
